Description

Rental of the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, Louisville, Kentucky, September 15th through 21st, 2001, for the 2001 International Mine Rescue and National Mine Rescue, First Aid, EMT and Bench Contest. The Contest site must be located in or near the eastern United States coal fields. Louisville, Kentucky, is centrally located in the coal mining region. It is convenient to mines in Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia; the city is just about a day's drive from Alabama, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
