F73FAB 120801 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION . A quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73FAB120801 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business and is under North American Industry Classification System code 56172, with a small business size standard of $12,000,000. This requirement is for Removal/Disposal of Dead Birds and Cleaning of Bird Waste in Hangars: Buildings to be serviced are: Bldg 509 and 517. Period of Performance: Basic year plus 3 option years. REQUIRED SERVICES: The contractor is responsible for all personnel, supplies, tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation off base of all waste and all services necessary to perform this contract. Following requirements will be performed twice each month on the first and third Friday during the months of April through October and once each month on the third Friday during the months of November through March. REMOVE ALL DEAD BIRDS AND BIRD DEBRIS: Bldg 509: Clean ledges on north side wall, and ledge on hangar doors. Clean tracks for full length, on north door. Bldg 517: Clean tracks on east side of hangar for full length. Clean 3 feet inside/outside of door closures area. Clean ledges on east side wall, and ledge on hangar doors. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant contract: FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services(Nov 99). The Contracting Officer shall provide written notice to the Contractor extending the period of performance in accordance with contract clause no less than 15 calendar days prior to expiration of the contract. FAR 52.217-9(Nov 99) Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days, provided, the Government shall give the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option provision. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 54 months. FAR 52.232-18 Available of Funds (Apr 84) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. NOTE: It is estimated that funds will be available on or about 1 Oct 01 for the basic year. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items, (Nov 99) It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580)481-7472. Offers on this acquisition shall be evaluated on the basis of price only. The Government reserves the right to make award without discussions.
