- Item 0001, NSN: 1650-00-241-1858UC, P/N: 4H90236-101B or 7110-1, Cylinder Assembly. Dimensions: Weight 5.25lbs, Stroke Length 16.34?, Retracted Length (Locked) 23.1?. Material: Predominantly Steel. Function: Locks and unlocks the aft ramp on the C-5 aircraft. 0001AA First Article requirement of 1 each. Required delivery for the first article is 180 days after contract award date. Government is allowed 105 days to test the first article. 0001AB Production quantity of 8 each. Required delivery 120 days after receipt of first article approval notification. The Government does not have manufacturing data for this item. Item 0001 has 2 annual options, each with quantity ranges. The 1st year option quantity range is 1 to 7 and the 2nd year option quantity range is 1 to 8 each. Required delivery for the option quantities is 120 days after exercise of each respective option. The approximate RFP issue date will be 25 Sep 01 with the approximate response date of 25 Oct 01. RFP will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov only. No telephone requests. No hard copies will be issued. Restricted to Pneudraulics Inc (Mfg #06177), 8575 Helms Ave, Rancho Cucamonga Ca 91730-4519. All potential sources should contact the PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
