Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAHA06-01-Q-0029 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). SIC code is 3541, with size standard of 500. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cl auses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Connecticut Army National Guard, 1109th AVCRAD Facility has a requirement for one Surface Grinder, one Engine L athe and one Milling Machine. The Government considers Bridgeport-Harig 618 EZ-Surf, Surface Grinder, 16811908; to include the following accessories: Steel Long Ways, 16800050; Wet Grinding Attachment, 16811329; 6 inch x 18 inch Walker Electric Magnetic C huck, 17793041; Rectifier, Auto Release, 17793049; 208-3-60 Voltage, 17520836; or equal to meet the minimum requirements of the Government. The Government considers Bridgeport-Romi EZ-PATH SD X 40 INCH CNC Automated Engine Lathe, 13866212; to include the f ollowing accessories: 8 inch 3-Jaw Self Centering Rohm Chuck, 11865902; Soft Jaws for 8 Inch Rohm Chuck, 11866529; 5C Royal Air Collet Closer Installed, 13866641; Kennametal Tooling Kit, 11682222; 16 Inch Diagonal Face Plate, 11866337; Steady Rest (Hinged- Type), 11865919; or equal to meet the minimum requirements of the Government. The Government considers Bridgeport Machines Series 1 EZ-TRAK CNC Knee Type Milling Machine, CAT-1-TZ; to include the following accessories: Erikson 30 Quick Change Spindle, CA T-3-B; Accu-Lube Mist Cutting Fluid System, CAT-4-Y; Coolant/Chip Pan and Splash Back, CAT-6-5; Left Hand Mounted Work Lamp, CAT-8-1; 3rd Axis Option Installed, CAT-10-A; Remote Switch, 11507478; EZ-TRAK Desktop Software, 11048012; Kurt 8 Inch Anglelock D8 10 Vise, 11570551; Erickson 30 QC Tool Kit (Large), 11570551; Erickson Wrench Kit, 11576093; Johnson Way Covers, 11680350; or equal to meet the minimum requirements of the Government. Quotes must include machine set-up for proper operation, leveling, inst allation of components and equipment training. All equipment must be new and conform to all applicable standards and specifications. The Acquisition will be FOB Destination with Delivery and Acceptance point at the 1109th AVCRAD, 139 Tower Ave, Groton-Ne w London Airport, Groton, Connecticut 06340-5300. Delivery date shall be within 90 days of receipt of order. Award will be based on the evaluation of quotes for conformity to the synopsis/solicitation, technical capability of equipment, price and past pe rformance. Information to include points of contact on the last three contracts for similar equipment should be provided. Descriptive literature is required with your proposal. Descriptive literature must be of the type and detail sufficient to allow for a determination of compliance with the solicitation, and evaluation of equality with the specified products. The provision of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations, applies to this RFQ. A completed and signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with all offers.
