Description

The subject solicitation is hereby amended as follows: (A) Under DESC 17(ix): (1) Under the first Item 4), the word "Price" is substituted for the phrase "Price Reasonableness"; and (2) The last sentence is hereby deleted in its entirety and superceded by the following: " Under evaluation factor 4) Price will be considered, but not point scored. Price consists of two subfactors: (A) Price reasonableness, which will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 15; and (B) Probable cost to the Government of doing business with the offeror including, but not limited to, the cost of training and adaptation to new procedures for instrumental analysis, peripheral equipment, and maintenance." (B) Under DESC 17 (xvii), the following sentence is added following the last sentence: " Technical evaluation factors are more important than price."
