Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Rhode Island has a requirement for a rear-projected passive stereoscopic display system with the following specifications: a) Projector must be digital with a minimum of 2500 total ANSI lumens, b) Display must provide a passive sterographic capability with circular polarization, c) The vendor must supply passive eyewear for 20 individuals, d) Minimum resolution for the display is 1600 x 1200, e) Display must be rear projection with the screen spanning the distance between the floor and ceiling of the B1346/4 Visualization Laboratory (approximately 8' 8"). The aspect ratio shall correspond to the native resolution of the display (i.e. 4:3 for a 1600 x 1200 display), f) System must be installed by the vendor in the B1346/4 Visualization Laboratory, g) System must be capable of being driven by an SGI Visualization System as delivered. FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items will be utilized for this acquisition. Delivery will be FOB Destination Newport, Rhode Island 16 weeks after contract award. NAICS Code is 334310, 750 Employees. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
