Description
DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;quotations are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This is the Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-27 and DAC 91-13. This is a 100% small business set aside under simplified acquisition procedures; the Standard Industrial Code is 8243 and the small business size standard is $5 million. The requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. Request is for the Procurement for the following classroom training. Item 1. Flex Training Account Deposit for Windows NT/2000 and Sun Unix Training, quantity; 1 lot. Includes; (a) Windows 2000 Network & Operating System, Implementing Windows 2000 Professional & Server, Implementing a Windows 2000 Network, Implementing & Administering Windows 2000 Directory Services, Designing a Secure Microsoft Windows 2000 Network, Designing a Windows 2000 Migration Strategy, Designing & Administering Exchange 2000, Designing & Deploying Exchange 2000, Administering a SQL Server 2000, Programming a Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Updating Support Skills from Windows NT 4.0 Server to Windows 2000 and Designing a Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure. (b) Sun Unix Training; Fundamentals of Solaris for System Administrators, Solaris System Administration I, Solaris System Administration II, Shell Programming for Administrators, PERL Programming, NIS + Administrator, Solaris TCP/IP Network Administration, Solaris System Fault Analysis, Sun Storedge Volume Manager Administration. The location for this training is limited to a twenty five mile radius from Camp Pendleton. These courses must be taught by Microsoft Authorized and Certified Technical Education Instructors. All responsible sources may submit a quote by providing descriptive literature of how your product meets the needs of the Government; past performance of at least two recent references where the Contractor has sold the same product. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: 1) technical, 2) past performance, and 3) price. All Contractors submitting a quote are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award.
