Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), WESTHEM Computer Technology, Multi-Site Contracts and Midwest Area Commands Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Merant Solutions, 940 Key West Avenue, Rockville, MD 20859. This acquisition is for software license renewal and maintenance for the period 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002, at the Defense Enterprise Computing Centers (DECCs) Mechanicsburg, Columbus; Ogden; St. Louis; and the Defense Enterprise Computing Center Detachments Dayton and Huntsville. The software is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. The software products are APS MVS/APPMASTER BLDR FOR BUPERS; SUPPORTNET FOR APPMASTER BUILDER; APS FOR MVS; APPLICATION SERVER; APPLICATION TO APPLICATION INTERFACE; APS MVS/APPMASTER BLDR FOR SIMA; AAI; SUPPORTNET FOR OSX; SUPPORTNET FOR OBJECT COBOL DEVELOPER SUITE. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract.
