Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), WESTHEM Computer Technology, Multi-Site Contracts and Midwest Area Commands Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Software and Management Associates, Inc. (Small Business), 19506 Eastex Freeway, 2nd Floor, Humble, TX 77338. This acquisition is for a firm-fixed price contract to provide PROPRIETARY SCHEDULER Software Systems Maintenance for 43 copies to systems located at the Defense Enterprise Computing Centers (DECCs) and/or Detachments at San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Ogden, Montgomery, and Maasland AB, Netherlands. Period of Coverage for software license renewal and maintenance is 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. The software is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. Software and Management Associate's Inc. is the original software distributor and controls the copyright to software distribution and code for the SCHEDULER software. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract.
