Description

The purpose of this effort is to modify vendor PCM Encoders to accommodate the requirements of the Statement of Work for use in flight testing for the TOW Fire and Forget Flight Telemetry system Pulse Code Modulation Encoder for the Redstone Technical Test Center, Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, GovWorks is an acquisition support activity for RTTC. The PCM encoder forms a part of an airborne telemetry package to be used in a telemetry data acquisition and transmission system. Two different encoder types will be used to acquire environmental and missile performance data during flight testing of the TOW Fire and Forget missile system. The resultant contract will be firm-fixed-price, commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. All requests for the solicitation shall be received by e-mail to the Contracting Officer by 9/10/2001. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EDT 9/19/2001 by e-mail. No hard copies of the proposal are required. Send requrests for solicitation to linda.butler@mms.gov and reference the above solicitation number. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing a response to this notice. All questions concerning this notice must be sent to the Contracting Officer by e-mail.
