Description

Requirement is to provide on-call and stand-by coverage one weekend per month and approx 20 other days during the year for the resident Nephrologist at Keesler Medical Center, Keesler AFB, MS. Historical data indicates that while performing this coverage, the contractor will probably have to perform 100 hemodialysis and 20 Quinton catheter insertion procedures. Performance shall be in accordance with the statement of work and professional standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Period of performance will be from 01 Oct 01 to 30 Sep 02. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price requirements contract. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 621492 and the small business standard is $25 million.
