Description

REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 29,900 rentable square feet yielding 26,000 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space in Springfield, Illinois. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Existing, proposed, or sites for new space will be considered. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in the Springfield, Illinois area within the following delineated area: WEST: Cockrell Road, SOUTH: US HWY 36 (I-72), EAST: 11th Street, NORTH: IL HWY 54 (McGrath Rd./Walbash Ave.)/ Stanford Ave. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. On-site parking is required in the amount of One Hundred (100) spaces or per local code whichever is greater. Space must be ready for occupancy by December 1, 2002. LEASE TERM: Term is 10 years, 7 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges, after 7 years.
