Description

The following corrections high-lighted by ALL CAPS are made to the synopsis issued on 19 June 2001. The government intends to acquire Improved Voice Warning Systems on a sole source basis UNDER COMMERCIAL ITEM PROCEDURES. The intended source is Specialty Enterprises, LTD, 12910 Travilah Road, Potomac, MD 20854. The RFP number is USZA95-01-R-0033. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-TWENTY-SEVEN. The North American Industrial Code for this procurement is 336413 and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. The SERVICES AND SUPPLIES to be procured are NEW Improved Voice Warning Systems (IVWS) AND MODIFICATION OF GOVERNMENT-OWNED IVWS for use on MH-60K and MH-47E Special Operations aircraft, manufactured by Specialty Enterprises, LTD. Minimum quantity OF NEW UNITS is 12 each, maximum quantity SIXTY each. The solicitation will also require a weight on wheels modification for 12 new units and SIXTY-THREE government-owned units. The Inspection, Acceptance and FOB Point is Origin. The anticipated contract shall be firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ). This is a DO-A1 rated order. The Inspection, Acceptance and FOB Point is Origin. Desired delivery is 120 days ARO. The solicitation will be issued on about 13 SEPTEMBER 2001.
