Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for various commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a quote is being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation N61339-01-T-0094 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The requirement will be awarded on a sole source basis to Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc., Herndon, VA 20170-4802. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 33431 with a size standard of 750 employees. The following items are required: CLIN 0001, Digital Audio Communication System (P/N: ND-2U-T2-F1-RD-DV), Qty -- 1; CLIN 0002, Distributed Operators (P/N: SW-OP-16500-R11), Qty -- 22; CLIN 0003, Communications Model Credits (P/N: SW-COM-2000), Qty -- 2000; CLIN 0004, Distributed Digital Interface 2U Chassis (P/N: DDI-V30-AA-2), Qty -- 1. Delivery FOB Destination to NAS Norfolk, VA 23511 NLT 60 days after receipt of order. Acceptance shall be made at destination upon delivery. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 ALTERNATE 1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (Dev) and 252.212-7001. The following clauses of DFARS 252.212-7001(a) and (b) apply: 252-225-7001. A COMPLETED COPY OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THE QUOTE: FAR 52.212-3 ALTERNATE 1 AND DFARS 252.212-7000. The following clause also applies: DFARS 252.204-7004, "Required Central Contractor Registration". The DPAS rating for this solicitation is N/A. See Numbered Note 22 which applies (forty-five days is changed to read ten days).
