Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. THIS NOTICE IS THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT. All references to "offers" are understood to be "quotations". This is an unrestricted solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. Keesler AFB intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items for the purchase of the following Brand Name Items: Manufactured by Rohde & Schwarz, Item 0001: SMR20 Signal Generator, 1-20 GHz, PN 1104.0002.20 (1 Ea). Item 0002: SMR20 Option-B1, OXCO Reference Oscillator, Frequency Accuracy>1X10E-9/day, PN 1104.5485.02 (1 Ea). Item 0003: SMR20 Option-B3, 0.1 Hz Frequency Resolution, PN 1104.5585.02 (1 Ea). Item 0004: SMR20 Option-B4, Ramp Sweep, PN 1104.5685.02 (1 Ea). Item 0005: SMR20 Option-B5, AM/FM/SCAN Modulator, PN 1104.3501.03 (1 Ea). Item 0006: SMR20 Option-B11, 10 MHz to 1 GHz Frequency Extension, PN 1104.4250.02 (1 Ea). Item 0007: SMR20 Option-B14, Pulse Generator, PN 1104.3982.02 (1 Ea). Item 0008: SMR20 Option-B15, RF Attenuator 20 GHz, PN 1104.4989.02 (1 Ea). Item 0009: SMR20 Option-B23, Intermediate Frequency (IF) Input 20 GHz, PN 1104.5804.02 (1 Ea). Item 0010: SMR20 Signal Generator Service Manual, Unit Level, PN 1104.3430.82 (1 Ea). Item 0011: SMR20 Signal Generator Service Manual, Module Level, PN 1104.3430.94 (1 Ea). Item 0012: Transit Case for SMR20 Signal Generator, Item ZZT-214, PN 1109.5119.00 (1 Ea). The North American Industry Classification Code is 334515and the small business standard is 500. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is amended to read: submit signed and dated offer on Company Letterhead to 81 CONS/LGCB, 310 M Street, Room 102, Keesler AFB MS 39534-2147 at or before 1530(3:30pm) 17 Sep 01. Quotation may be submitted via FAX (228) 377-3298 to Elishama Ouder, or e-mail at elishama.ouder@keesler.af.mil.=20 Evaluations will be performed in accordance with provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation_Commercial Items (Jan 1999). Evaluation Factors past performance, technically acceptable product, and price will be evaluated as being substantially equal. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is incorporated by reference with the following addenda: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration.
