- Description
- This is a Market Survey to locate additional source to provide contractor depot level maintenance and field engineering support for Lightweight Tactical Fire Direction System Brief Case Terminal (LTACFIRE BCT). The current source for this support services is Litton Systems Incorporation, Litton Integrated Systems Division, Agoura Hills, CA. The services which will be required from the supplier for this contract include (1) To provide for all repairs of LTACFIRE equipment returned to the depot from US Army and National Guard Field Artillery units or the Field Engineer (FE). The failed equipment will be repaired/overhauled (if required) to 100% readiness state and return to the field units. (2) To provide emergency on call field engineering services and repair support for LTACFIRE assets fielded worldwide (CONUS and OCONUS locations) to US Army and National Guard units. A field engineer needs to relocate to an Army directed location for the field engineering support. This will be a Time and Materials contract and the required performance period will be from 1 April 2002 through 31 March 2005. Technical Data Package to include production drawings, detailed performance design and interface information, software design/coding data are not available from the Army. Technical System Description, Direct Support and General Support Maintenance Manual, and Statement of Work are available for reference. Suppliers capable of providing these services must so indicate, by writing to Commander, US Army CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-C-AB, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703. The response must include proof documentation for depot level and field engineering experience and a statement demonstrating that the supplier is well qualify to provide these services. Copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vender to the listed source or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with the similar services that will be physical and functionally interchangeable with the services from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the services/materiel supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose indented by the Army or other Armed Forces.
