Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine to procure professional training and consulting services on a sole source basis with Process Communications, Inc. (PCI), 8740 Sleepy Hollow Lane, Potomac, Maryland 20854, for their proprietary Process Communication Model . The Process Communication Model is a training tool used for improving interpersonal communication skills and staff motivation. PCI is the only known source capable of providing the Process Communication Model teaching tool. PCI has 14 years of experience in providing training for the Process Communication Model . PCI's staff has received several awards, nominations as well as being recognized for the Eric Byrne Memorial Price award. PCI has provided consulting services to National Aeronautics and Space Administration by assisting in the interviewing and psychiatric consulting of candidates for the Astronaut space program. PCI will provide three 2-day training sessions and consult with the SIS staff on improving interpersonal communication skills. PCI will provide techniques based on Dr. Taibi Kahler's Process Communication Model. Dr. Kahler is clinical psychologist specializing in interpersonal communication skills.
