Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. EM-0181 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) Number. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This solicitation has been set-aside 100% for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 811219. This requirement is for anechoic tiles (RF Absorbing Material) for an anechoic chamber. Description of materials: 1) Area to be covered is 900 square feet. 2) Pieces should be no larger than 2'x2' squares, no smaller than 1'x1' squares. 3) Maximum thickness of 24". 4) Minimum 150V/m power handling capability. 5) Must meet NRL 8093 class 1, 2, and 3 fire-retardant test standard or equivalent. 6) Mechanically mountable on wall or ceiling edges available mitered or easily mitered during installation by use of a band saw or hot wire foam cutter (or some other common method); can be mounted by using contact adhesive paint. 7) Broadband, 10-18,000 MHz; Frequency versus Reflectivity requirements as indicated (Frequency/Maximum Normal Incidence Reflectivity) 10-20 MHz/-6 dB; 20-30 MHz/-9 dB; 30-40 MHz/-12 dB; 40-50 MHz/-15 dB; 50-80 MHz/-17 dB; 80-1,000 MHz/-19 dB; 1,000-10,000 MHz/-19dB; 10,000-18,000 MHz/-22 dB. Deliver to Kirtland AFB, NM 87117-5609 within 30 days after receipt of award (ARO). Delivery shall be FOB Destination.
