Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0320 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Small Business Set-Aside is hereby dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334119 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 -- 3 ea Enclosure, Dual Disk Drive, Raytheon P/N EPE113-0000-1. This requirement is being issued as a sole source to Raytheon Systems Company, Aircraft Integration Systems, PO Box 6056, Greenville, TX 75403-6056. Raytheon Systems Company is the only source that will meet the exact specifications to interface with existing equipment in terms of form, fit and function. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 180 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane IN. A Certificate of Conformance (COC) will be required. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
