- Description
- The CECOM Acquisition Center Washington on behalf of the Program Manager for Mines, Countermine and Demolitions, proposes to purchase a non-developmental, commercial Mine Protected Clearance Vehicle(MPCV) system to support the U.S. Army's Ground Standoff Mine Detection System (GSTAMIDS) Block 0 developmental and operational test program. The Army intends to negotiate on a sole source basis a fixed price contract with TSG, Inc. 2081 Hayter St. North Charleston, SC 29413. The MPCV being procured under this contract will be the same make and model (TSG-Buffalo) as the MPCV tested and down-selected under the U.S. Government's Foreign Comparison Test Program for MPCV. Improvements related to safety and human factors engineering will be incorporated into the MPCV being purchased under this contract. See Note 22.
