Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Services/Supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this synopsis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The North American Industrial Classification Code 541519 and its size standard of $18.0 million apply to this announcement. It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure the following Brand Name items on an all or none lowest cost basis. Vendors must be authorized Sony Representatives to provide the following equipment: 1) Tektronix Model #WFM601M Serial Component Waveform Monitor (2 each); 2) Tektronix Model #1700F05 Rack Mount Kit (2 each); 3) Tektronix Model # 1700F06 Filler Panel (2 each); 4) Sony Model #PFVHD300 HD interface unit (1 each); 5) Sony BKPF131B A to D Converter BD (4 each) and 6) Sony BKPF132B D to AD Converter BD (4 each.) The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 27. The following provisions apply to this announcement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with responses. Responses are required within 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the publication date of this notice and must be sent to Susan A. Nsangou, Contract Specialist, NLM/OAM, 8600 Rockville Pike, Building 38A, Room B1N17, Bethesda, MD 20894. Synopsis NLM 01-233/SAN shall be referenced in all responses to this announcement. Responses shall be sent via mail or fax (301) 402 0642. Electronic responses will not be accepted. The NLM intends to make one award on or about September 26, 2001.
