Description

A Young Stand Density Management (Thinning) Project on the Willamette National Forest, Middle Fork Ranger District, Lane County, Oregon. Work includes thinning of 784 acres, on three sites. Lowell Ranger District 293 acres of matrix and 133 acres of LSR. Rigdon area 140 acres. Oakridge area 218 acres. Maps will be available at the Lowell Service Center and the Middle Fork District Office in Westfir. Estimated start work date is October 10, 2001. Estimated issue date will be September 19, 2001. Contract performance time is 56 calendar days. See Note 1. The proposed procurement is totally set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
