Description

Service Contract: Fish Barge Screen Modifications, Lower Granite Dam. The work will be performed on two fish transportation barges located at Lower Granite Dam. Modify the water overflow outlets in the fish holding tanks by adding additional screens and enlarge the outlet chambers in the holding tanks and barge hulls. Screens are flat panel, wedge wire, stainless steel with outer perimeter stabilized with stainless steel angles. All metalwork modifications to the barge holding tanks is A 36 structura l steel. There are 6 fish holding tanks per barge. Two screens will be added to each holding tank. All new work is to be painted with epoxy paint to match the original paint. Time for completion of work is 150 calendar days. The contract will be fir m-fixed-price type. Procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS code for this acquisition is 488390; the small business size standard is $5,000,000.00 annual receipts. This synopsis is not an invitation for bids, but a notice that a solicita tion will be issued. IFB No. DACW68-01-B-0023 to be issued on or about Sept 26 with bid opening on or about Oct 26, 2001.
