Description

Single award term contract for the period 02/01/02 to 01/31/03 for the Department of Energy. NOTE: RESTRICTED TO CONTRACTORS WITH PRODUCTION FACILITIES WITHIN A 56-KILOMETER (35-MILE) RADIUS OF WASHINGTON,DC. Posters, printing face only or face and back in one to four PMS colors, or printing in four-color process plus up to two additional PMS colors. Format A -- 279 x 432 mm (11 x 17 inches) up to 432 x 558 mm (11 x 22 inches); Format B -- over 432 x 558 mm (17 x 22 inches) up to 558 x 889 mm (22 x 35 inches). Approximately 12 to 24 orders per year for 3,000 to 5,000 posters per order. Operations include electronic prepress, proofing, film-making, printing, packing, mailing and distribution. Furnished material pickup in Washington, DC and Germantown, MD. 5 and 10 workday schedules. Quality level III. Bid opening anticipated during the month of December 2001.
