- Description
- The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Connecticut intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Simula Safety Systems Inc., 7414 S. Harl Avenue, Tempe, AZ 85283 for the procurement of seven each of Energy-Absorbing Crew Chief/Flight Engineer Seat and Adapter Frame for CH47D Aircraft, Part Number : 110400-1, for delivery to the Connecticut Aviation Classification and Repair Depot (CTAVCRAD), 139 Tower Ave, 06340. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded to Simula Safety Systems, Inc, under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 and FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source. All qualified sources must respond in writing not later than 4 PM EST, 20 September 2001. The seats must m eet or exceed the characteristics of the Simula Safety Systems components as follows: Seat Frame, 110410-1; Seat, 110420-1; Airframe Installation Kit, 110430-1. FOB Destination. Inspection and acceptance at Destination. This procurement is 100% set-asid e for small business; SIC Code: 3728; Size Standard: 1,000. The provision of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations, applies to this RFQ. A completed and signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with all offers.
