Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation is attached. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following items: Twenty-eight (28) each, Image Video p/n 134-0152-26, Tri-color tally display with one (1) each, Image Video p/n 161-0129-02, interface; three (3) each, Image Video p/n 132-0189-00, power supply (multiple output); two (2) each, Image Video p/n 110-0696-01, adapter, and six (6) each, Image Video p/n 114-0316-00, power supply (wall mount). Required delivery is thirty (30) days after contract award. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The brand named items have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government's minimum requirements, but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. If the equipment proposed is the same as in the solicitation (i.e., same manufacturer and part number), offeror's need only make a statement to that effect. If the offeror is proposing other manufacturers or part numbers, the offeror shall identify the manufacturer and part number. The offeror shall also provide complete technical data. It is the offeror's responsibility to provide sufficient technical data to allow the Government to determine if the proposed substitution meets the Governments needs. All responses to this notice must be provided in writing. Responses may be mailed to Television Audio Support Activity, Sacramento Contracting Office, Attn: T-ASA/SCO (Chongae Makiya), 3230 Peacekeeper Way, Bldg: 209, McClellan, CA 95652. Facsimile responses are acceptable; FAX number is (916) 643-4032. All responses to this notice must make reference to solicitation number MDA112-01-T-0026. Quotes must be submitted by 1:00 PM PDT, September 14, 2001. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. Failure to provide any of the required documents referenced in this notice may render your quote unacceptable and ineligible.
