Description

This is a notice of intent to issue RFQ-EASC-01-15231, on a sole source basis under statutory authority 41 USC 253(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source, to VEMCO Ltd., 100 Osprey Drive, SHad Bay, Nova Scotia B3T2C1, Canada. The monitors and pingers will facilitate tracking of Atlantic Salmon smolts in the Main estuaries and associated nearshore waters. Equipment shall work interchangeably with existing gear and be 100% compatible with exisitng VEMCO equipment and data analysis software. Contractor shall provide 30 ea, VR2 Single Channel Moniotr-Ultrasonic Receiver High Bias; 2 ea, V8SC-6L-69kHz-R256 Code Test Pinger with reed switch code sequence numbers 1 and 2; 256 ea, V8SC-6L-69kHz-R256 Ultrasonic Pingers specification consistent with Salmon Custom Map 2001 channel C-code sequence numbers 1-256. Delivery shall be no later than 2 weeks after award.
