Description

The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute intends to purchase the brand named Automatic Gamma Counter, manufactured by Titertek Instruments, Inc., product #0602704, Model APEX 10/200EC. The Automatic Gamma Counter includes control and operating systems, with the following specifications: Maximum tube size mm, 8-12 diameter, 50-75 height, Ten 2.0 cubic inch NaI crystals, Windows fixed for I-125 and Co-57, Automatic detector performance verification, Automatic single or sequential dual label combination counting, Binary coded rack capability for positive sample I.D., Selection of software for data reduction, Detectors matched to with 1%, Greater than 75% efficiency for I-125, Background as I-125 less than 75cpm, Automatic background determination and storage, Automatic background subtract Automatic systems status reports, LCD?s to display up to six digit counts from each detector, Count time variable from .1 to 25min in 0.1 min increments, Sample change time -7 seconds/ten tubes, Multiple assay stacking capability, Manual (stat) count mode- may be accessed through an interrupt if an assay is in the process of counting, Table top counter: Dimensions: Width 25.25 in (64.1cm) Dept 22.25 in (56.4cm) Height 21.25 in (54cm) Weight 256 lbs (117kg), Stainless steel deck for up to 200 tubes, White Polane-T chemically resistant cabinet surface, Electronic package easily accessible through front panel, Replaceable lift rod and caps, Replaceable guide rod tips, RS232C output, adjustable baud rate, Rack sensing switch to detect rack presence in counting zone, Twenty place rack -- centrifugible and compatible with all ICN pipetting stations, Rack capable of accepting conical bottom tubes, Keyed rack to allow placement in counting zone in only one direction instrument warranted one year to cover defects in material and workmanship. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with the Offerors providing the required specifications as outlined in this solicitation. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offeror?s best terms from a technical and price standpoint. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Size Standard is 500 employees for this requirement. This requirement is a small business set-aside. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the products in this synopsis should submit two (2) copies of a proposal to the below address. The proposal shall include the business size, itemized price, shipping cost if applicable, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), and descriptive literature of the product quoted.
