Description

SERVICE Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to transport Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and accessories and provide maintenance (repair, preventative and cleaning) of DME and accessories within the Department of Veterans Affairs Beneficiaries residences, throughout the counties of Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Pasco, Hernando, Highland, Hardy and Desoto in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Equipment to include hospital beds, mattresses, trapeze assemblies and overbed tables. Contract Base period shall run from 11-1-01 through 9-30-02 with the Government having the option to renew for two one-year option periods. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621999 and the size standard is 5 million. Offerors must have a local facility in which to store the equipment. Requests for solicitations shall be in writing on company letterhead and shall be submitted to the address listed herein or faxed to 727-398-9536, and directed to the attention of Cathy Johnson (90G). Issue date of solicitation is on or about September 17, 2001 with bids being due on or about October 17, 2001. See numbered Note 1.
