Description

17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for various commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DAJN02-01-T-0093 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The following is required: Quantity (4)- 2001 Four Tracks Forman Rubicon, ATV (MDL TRX500FA) Brand Name or Equal with the following minimum requirements: Engine size must have 499cc liquid-cooled OHV dry-sump longitudinal mounted single cylinder four stroke. Transmission must be a fully automatic hydro mechanical, continuously variable with electronic control. Must have a length of 81.6 in, width of 46.6 in, height of 47 in, and a dry weight of 600 pounds. The color must be olive or black. Destination/Shipment address: Naval Base Roosevelt Roads, Ceiba, PR 00735. The following FAR/DFAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to offerors -- Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2 evaluation of Commercial Items -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (May 2001), 252.212-7000 Offeror representations and certifications -- Commercial Items (9/95), 252.212-7001 Contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense acquisitions of commercial items (9/99), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May 2001), 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (May 2001). The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5 applies: (a) (1) and (2), (b)(1), (7), (18)(24) and (25). Interested parties must be Central Contractor Registered and quotes must include DUNS Number, cage code and CCR Registry unless Government's Credit Card is accepted as a method of payment (please indicate). Interested parties are reminded that the Army cannot place orders through EFT (checks) with any offeror not registered in CCR. Evaluations will be made based on the lowest price technically acceptable meeting all above requirements.
