- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. Submit offers on RML-RFQ #032. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees. SCHEDULE: The Rocky Mountain Laboratories has a requirement for a automated immunohistochemical stainer. It is mandatory that the automated immunohistochemical stainer purchased have the following features: (1) Must process tissue sections for both Immuno-histo chemistry and for routine histology. (2) Must include a humidified chamber to ensure that the tissue samples do not get dry. (3) The ability to use heat and the absence of heat during the staining procedure. (4) Will allow for use of our own reagents at critical steps in the staining protocols. (5) Liquid Coverslip delivery 0.43 0.51 gm required to ensure & maintain tissue hydration. (6) Vortex Mixing Flow Rate 425 725 ul per minute with an average of 525 625 ul. Ensures constant uniform delivery of reagents to the tissue section. (7) User driven protocols to enable walkway technology while maintaining the protocol flexibility. (8) Inside delivery required. FOB Point shall be Destination, Hamilton, MT. Delivery location is Rocky Mountain Laboratories, 903 South 4th Street, Hamilton, Montana. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial; Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items; The government intends to make an award based on: (1) Capability of the item offered to meet the agency need. (2) Price. (3) Warranty and/or maintenance information to include period and coverage shall be stated. (4) Delivery time. Offerors must include with their offer certification that all hardware and software offered are Y2K compliant. FAR 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52-212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
