Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Services/Supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this synopsis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The North American Industrial Classification Code 421430 and its size standard of 100 employees apply to this announcement. It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure the following items on an all or none lowest cost basis. 1) DS1800 Digital KVM Switch, 8 pack, Rack Mount (2 each); 2) DS1800 Auth. Server Software (1 each); 3) DS1800 User Software Five Simultaneous Users (2 each); 4) PS/2 Keyboard, Mouse and VGA Video Cable, 8 feet (80 each); 5) Auto View 200 KVM Switch (8 each); 6) Rack Mounting Kit Auto View 200 and 400 (8 each); 7) Console Port Server, 16 Port With Vconsole SW (6 each); 8) 1 U' Rack Mount Shelf for CPS800 or 1600 (3 each); 9) Adapters -- Type To Be Determined (95 each); 10) 8 Wire Reversing Modular Cable 25 Feet (95 each); 11) 1 User 24 System Auto View 424 Console Switch (1 each); 12) PS/2 Keyboard, Mouse and VGA Video Micro 30ft. (24 each) The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 27. The following provisions apply to this announcement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items must be submitted with responses. Responses are required within 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the publication date of this notice and must be sent to Sheila L. Spring, Contract Specialist, NLM/OAM, 8600 Rockville Pike, Building 38A, Room B1N17, Bethesda, MD 20894. Synopsis NLM 01-235/SLS shall be referenced in all responses to this announcement.
