Description

DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4416-01-X-XXXX. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This synopsis/solicitation will be a 100% small business set-aside and falls under NAICS 811219 and the business size standard is $5.0 mil. All offers must be received by 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on 24 Sep 01. Delivery and finance addresses will be provided upon award.=20 Description: The contractor shall provide all maintenance management, services, tools, supplies and equipment to perform inspections, maintenance and repair of approximately 90 Automatic doors at Andrews AFB. There are 11 buildings identified under this requirement. The proposed award will be for a one year from 01 Oct 01 through 30 Sep 02. 0001 -- Contractor shall perform an inspection of the estimated 90 doors and perform the necessary preventative maintenance. 0002 -- The contractor shall perform Routine Service Calls estimated at 20 calls per year based on historical data, which shall not exceed $1,760.00. 0003 ? The contractor shall perform an estimated 10 emergency service calls based on historical data, which shall not exceed $1,360.00. 0004 ? The contractor shall be reimbursed at cost for acquisition of parts specifically acquired to perform under this contract. For the purpose of reimbursements, original receipts shall support all purchases which shall not exceed $10,000.00. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. The following clauses apply to this solicitation; FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, blanks are filled as follows: Past Performance and Price. Contract award will be based on Price and Past Performance being equal; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and its addendum as follows, 52.247-34 F.O.B. Destination; FAR 52.228-5 Insurance-Work on a Government Installation; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit. A site visit will be conducted on 19 Sep 01 at 10:00 AM at 1419 Menoher Drive AFB, MD 20762.
