Description

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is soliciting proposals from interested hospitals to provide medically necessary health care services to those IHS/CHS eligible patients who aer referred for health care by the IHS because services are not available at an IHS facility. The coverage is for the Aberdeen Area Service Units. Multiple awards will be made to only those hospitals who agree to accept payment in accordance with the Indian Health Service Payment Policy entitled "Reimbursement Rates for Health Services Regulations", published in the Federal Register on June 30, 1996. Service to be performed for one year after award with four (4) one year option periods to extend for a total of five (5) years. Requests for copies of RFP 01-12 will be available approximately 15 days from publication. Solicitation closing date is tentatively scheduled for September 30, 2002. Requests for RFP 01-12 must be in writing and referencing the RFP number. Requests may be faxed to 605-226-7669.
