Description

Correction to original CBD Notice: The required work involves land-based placement of approximately 35,000 cubic yards of sand as beachfill, installation of a Geo-tube sand-filled structure, and the extension of three storm water outfall pipes to provide protection against erosion damage to public facilities and services located along the shoreline of the Borough of Ocean Gate, Ocean Country, New Jersey. The beachfill will be performed as a Base and four options. The Geo-tube installation will be included as part of the Base. Each of the outfall extensions will be done as individual options to the base. Solicitation documents will be furnished on CD-ROM only on or about September 28, 2001; hard copies will not be available. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet on the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or after issue date of the solicitation; however the official media of distribution for this solicitation is the CD-ROM. One copy of the CD-ROM will be furnished to each bidder at no charge. Requests for a CD-ROM must be made by registering on the Internet. No written or fax requests shall be accepted. Bids will be opened on or about October 30, 2001 at 11:00 am.
