Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FQ442712180600 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation provisions and clauses are those in effect under the current Federal Acquisition Regulation. Requirement is issued as full and open and the associated NAICS code is 23599. This requirement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Work consists of (0001) installation of approximately 5,700 LF of 6' high chain link fence with posts driven into the ground or asphalt for support, mesh fabric to limit visibility and three strands of wire across the top mounted on "outriggers" at a 45 degree angle outwards, (0002) Five swing type gates are to be provided at specific locations to allow access to emergency fire vehicles into the housing area, and (0003) installation of approximately 550 LF of brown mesh fabric and three strands of wire mounted on "outriggers" at a 45 degree angle outwards on existing fence. It is the intention of the government to have this fence removed by another contractor at a later date, however a price (credit) is requested under (0004) for possible cost savings (if any) due to authorization on salvaging the fence material at a later date. A drawing of the area is available by submitting a request via email to jane.bailey@travis.af.mil. Work is to begin within 10 days after receipt of order and completed with 30 days. Acceptance is FOB destination (State Street Housing). The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria to be used are price and past performance offering the best value to the government. All offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition this requirement is subject to the Davis Bacon Wage Determination CA01-0009 dated 8-29-01.
