Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F22600-01-T0680 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Brand Name or equal item. The incorporated document provisions and clauses are to be in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice 20001213. This acquisition is unrestricted; all responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation, which shall be considered. Place of performance is Keesler Air Force Base. Please provide unit price and amount on the following items: Item 0001: Two (2) ea. AN/PRC-117F Multi-band, Multi-mission, Radio, Manufactured by Harris Communications. Salient Characteristics: Capabilities must include; Man-portable, 30 -- 512 MHz, Have Quick II ECCM, DAMA SATCOM, SINCGARS, Interoperability with other military radios operating in the same frequency ranges (secure/un-secure), Simplex and Half Duplex data transmission capability/minimum of 19.2 Kbps in asynchronous mode and 16 Kbps in synchronous mode, Data interface using RS-232 and RS-422 balanced signaling schemes, Embedded crypto compatible with KY-57, KY-99, and CSZ-1A Encryption devices, Compatible with common COMSEC fill devices i.e.; KYK-13, KOI-18 and AN/CYZ-10 DTD, minimum of 6 COMSEC fill positions, Built and tested to MIL-STD-810E in regards to environmental requirements. Item 0002: Two (2) ea. RF-390-AT001, VHF/UHF Multi-band Vehicular Whip Antenna, Manufactured by Harris Communications. Salient Characteristics: Ability to operate in the 30 to 512 MHz range without the need for an external coupling device. Delivery terms shall be FOB destination with delivery within 20 days after award, and shall be delivered to 403 CF/SCM, 701 Fisher St. BLDG 904, Keesler AFB, MS, 39534. Inspection and acceptance shall be by the government. The North American Industry Classification Code is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.
