Description

The Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Operations Office (NNSA/NV) has a requirement to purchase six (6) M1116 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle HMMWV) chassis in support of its Protective Force Program. NNSA/NV intends on awarding a sole source contract to AM General Corporation, South Bend, Indiana, in order to fulfill this requirement for HMMWV chasis. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See numbered Note 22.
