Description

The Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Operations Office (NNSA/NV) has a requirement for the up-armoring of six(6) M1116 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) chassis in order to met the requirements of DOE Order 473.2, Protective Force Program. NNSA/NV intends on awarding a sole source contract to O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company, Fairfield, Ohio, in order to fill this requirement. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See numbered Note 22.
