Brown, Contract Specialist, Code 1143E, 301-744-6653; Fax 301-744-6670; email BrownRM@ih.navy.mil The Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Military EOD Man Transportable Robotic System (MTRS) that was to be held on Tuesday, 18 September 2001 at 9:00 am at the College of Southern Maryland La Plata campus in room BI-103/104 has been reschedule for 2 October 2001, same time and place. The following read-ahead documentation is available on the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division world wide web site at "www.ih.navy.mil/contracts/" for downloading by any interested vendor: (1) MTRS Pre-Solicitation Conference specific location/directions, lodging information, and agenda; (2) Draft System Performance Specification; (3) Draft Statement of Work (SOW); 4) Draft Evaluation Criteria (Contract Sections L and M); and 5) Tentative Bidder's List. If you have NOT already registered, attendees are requested to register by providing their Name, Title, Company/Organization Name, Address, Telephone Number, and E-Mail Address to the POC above no later than 21 Sept 2001. If you have already registered for the conference and still plan to attend, please do not re-register. However, if you registered and cannot attend on 02 October 2001, please email the POC above so your name will be removed from the attendee list. Any advance questions and/or comments pertaining to the conference or the read-ahead documentation may be FAXed or e-mailed to the POC so that they can be addressed at the conference. The purpose of the MTRS Pre-Solicitation Conference is not to obtain proposals. This announcement is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. The Government does not intend to pay for any information obtained during the conference or for the time and expense of the attendees.
