Description
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2, is issuing this as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item under FAR 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. Solicitation number RFQ 201811Q059. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The solicitation items are as follows: 1)Furnish materials and install 3 Pump Stands: add three-strand, four-point barbed wire top to existing six-foot fence (total length 48 feet; 14 feet x 14 feet x 10 feet x 10 feet). Replace existing river-side 10-foot panel with gate. Add stairs and handrail up to three-foot gate (approximate height six feet). Quantity 3 each. 2) Furnish materials and install island equipment yard: install six-foot, nine gauge chain link fence with three-strand four-point barbed wire top and two 20-foot gates around a 200-foot by 200-foot area. Quantity 1 Job. 3)Furnish materials and install shop equipment yard expansion: expand existing fenced area by relocating 230-foot section of eight-foot, nine-gauge chain link fence with top rail and adding new 230- and 240- foot sections of eight-foot, nine gauge chain link fence with top rail. Add one 20-foot gate and three-strand, four point barbed wire to all (total length 1650 feet). Repair damaged sections of existing fence, replacing parts as necessary. DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS: The contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 5 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 45 calendar days. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. CONTRACT TERM AND CONDITIONS: FAR Provisions 52.212-01, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-04, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. Evaluation of Commercial Items: The Government will award to the responsible offeror based on 1. price and 2. best value. Vendors wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide this office with the following: Price quote on letterhead for the requested items., correct remittance address, and a completed copy of FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. This form may be obtained from the Contracting Officer by fax at 505/248-6791. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for the receipt of offers.
