Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to purchase 40 each Power Block Assembly, Electro Miniature Corp P/N D2263-23, NSN 5977-01-380-4312. These items are being purchased for the National Weather Service to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, Missouri. As these parts are in support of the current NEXRAD program, alternative or like items would not be acceptable without extensive testing. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. Any small business sources, able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 calendar days after its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other government agencies to which it has previously provided these items. The information should be submitted to the address stated herein or may be faxed to telephone number 816-426-7530, ATTN: Karen Christian. Failure to provide the required information will deem your request non-responsive. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The government reserves the right to solicit bids based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice. The anticipated award date shall be within 20 days after date of this announcement. The NAICS code for this action is 334419. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Agency.
