Description

The USDA, National Finance Center (NFC)is seeking product maintenance technical support for its software asset management tool for OS/390 (MVS), namely SoftAudit One. The software is currently operating on IBM CPU's Model 9672/R56 and 9672/R46. This is the annual maintenance renewal which is effective October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 with the option to extend services for four additional option years. This is a sole source procurement because of the proprietary nature of the software. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested parties may express their interest to the Contracting Officer by the due date of this notice of intent either by E-mail, conventional mail or facsimile at (504) 255-5527. If an affirmative response to this request is not received, the Government will award to Isogon, New York, New York.
