F41636-01-T-C0458 -- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS and SOLICITATION, for commercial brand name items, and is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information below. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Avid MC Kit, MC 1000XL NT w/CPU and Dual LVD Adapter. Includes all boards, BOB, 8x8 and system software Intel 833 MHz Penti Processor, 9gig internal HD, 40X Max CD ROM, 10/100 Integrated Ethernet (two streams of 1:1 uncompressed ) (FX Package included (3D, IntraFrame), PN 0010-04345-01, 1 Each. CLIN 0002: Keyboard, media composer NT, PN 0060-00065-10, 1 Each. CLIN 0003: Kit, Dual 22? High Res Monitors, PN 0010-00932-01, 1 Each. CLIN 0004: RS73 GB LVD Media Drive, PN 0020-03102-01, 2 Each. CLIN 0005: MNT, Assurance 1000XL NT Meridien 3D, PN 0540-03096-01, 1 Each. CLIN 0006: On-Site Installation ? Outside 100 miles of a support office, PN 0530-00036-01, 1 Each. The above is a non-linear editing system. It is equipment under AS629. Theis new unit will replace an existing aging Avid media Composer sytem. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement request. Offerors must complete Representations and Certifications if not already on file with this office, and must be registered in the Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. An official separate request for quotation (RFQ), or request for proposal (RFP), will not be provided incidental to this announcement. All interested parties may be submit their offers via Fax, e-mail, or, US Postal System. The Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Award will be based on conformance to the conditions of the requirement, evaluation of price, responsibility of offeror, and the overall best value to the Government, in terms of, technical capability, price, delivery, and special features. Quotes must be received no later than 4:00PM (CST), 18 Sep 2001, with acceptance to be valid for 30 days.
