Description

The Department of Justice intends to procure the services of Serena Software for maintenance support on the following software: Washington Location -- StarTools (610 MIPS), IBM 9672-R46, Hitachi Pilot 37; Dallas Location -- StarTools (771 MIPS), IBM 9672-R36, IBM 9672-R56, for the period 10/1/01 thru 9/30/02, on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). Any responses received as a result of this notice of intent, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the descretion of the Government.*****
