Description

The contractor shall perform operation, maintenance, and repair services for elevators, lift equipment and roll-up doors located throughout the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, 2800 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, Maryland 20783. The contractor shall report to t he job site within ten (10) minutes of notification that service is required. Respondees must be able to document that its company has been established and active in the maintenance, supervision, testing and repair of elevators and lifts for a minimum of six years. The estimated period of performance is sixty (60) months from the date of contract award. The contract will consist of the base year effort and four (4) options each with twelve months periods of performance to run consecutively. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All interested firms are encouraged to respond by requesting inclusion on the solicitation mailing list within fifteen (15) days of the appearance of this notice in CBD. The Standard Industrial Code for this action is 1796 with $7M in average annual receipts for the last three years as the threshold to determine business size. The security level for this requirement is unclassified. Persons employed under this contract and working at the U.S. Army R esearch Laboratory, Adelphi, MD shall have a favorable, completed National Agency Check (NAC) issued by the Industrial Security Office, Columbus, OH.
