Description

This medical center is in need of a company to provide a refrigeration/air condidioning mechanic at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DVAMC) from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a minimum of three days a week and a maximum of five days a week for each week of the contract. The technician will perform troubleshooting and repairs on all equipment associated with the HVAC and refrigeration systems. The technician will work from work orders issued by the Operations Unit Supervisor. The DVAMC will provide all repair parts. The technician will provide documentation of all work performed on contractor service reports. These forms must reflect DVAMC equipment number, time on job, repair parts expended, refrigeration management, and a narrative of work performed. The technician will also provide suggestions on system improvements and energy conservation.
