Description

Repair Secondary Containment, Bldg. #337, Offutt AFB, NE. A. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate FAR Part 52.215-5 titled "Facsimile Bids". B. This action originally publicized in the CBD on 10 July 2001 is hereby amended to authorize Facsimile Bids. C. FAR Part 52.215-5, which authorizes offerors to submit facsimile bids, is hereby incorporated into this solicitation. Facsimile proposals are subject to the same rules as paper proposals. D. The telephone number for receiving your proposal is: (402) 294-0430. E. If any portion of a facsimile proposal received by the Contracting Officer is unreadable to the degree that conformance to the essential requirements of the solicitation cannot be ascertained from the document, the Contracting Officer immediately shall notify the offeror and permit the offeror to resubmit the proposal; the method and time for resubmission shall be prescribed by the Contracting Officer after consultation with the offeror; and the resubmission shall be considered as if it were received at the date and time of the original unreadable submission for the purpose of determining timeliness, provided the offeror complies with the time and format requirements for resubmission prescribed by the Contracting Officer. F. The apparent successful offeror will be required to provide the complete, original signed bid. G. The Bid Opening Date is changed to 14 September 2001, 2:00 p.m. H. All other terms and conditions remains the same.
