Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Aero Union Corporation, Chico, California for the engineering and modification of an existing 146AW Photo Reconnaissance Pallet for the C-130E aircraft for new sensors and testing of the modified pallet (Airborne Tactical Support Module (ATSM) Photo Recce Pallet) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award is 28 Sep 01, if funds are available. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
