- This CBD notices is an amendment to Submission No. 50X0F1. The Purpose of this modification is to extend the date for CBD notice receipt to September 20, 2001 1:00pm. Also the following is answers to questions received conerning the CBD. Q1. Please confirm the number of delivery locations: "SEC's library in the Securities and Exchange Commission building" and/or "the lobby of the 901 E. St. building." Is there one delivery location or two? A1. Two Q2. For some newspapers, the solicitation states "daily, including Sunday." Are Saturday's editions included with dailies? A2. Yes Q3. Can we obtain a copy of the previous winning quote for subject solicitation? If so, how? A3. Yes. Request the information via the Freedom Of Information Act. You may write for to the FOIA Office at Securities and Exchange Commission, 6432 General Green Way, Stop 0-5, Alexandria, VA 22312 or Phone at (202) 942-4320. Q4. Regarding evaluation criteria, solicitation states "lowest bidder whose proposal meet the requirement set forth herein and at the lowest cost." Will quotes or proposals be accepted from small businesses ONLY? A4. Yes, The CBD states the request is a 100% small business-small purchase set-aside. Q5. "Newspapers and magazines shall be bundled and labeled separately on each account? Please confirm the number of "accounts." A5. There are 15 accounts that are bundled individually. Q6. Please inform if the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, Procurement and Contracts Branch frequently requests quotes and proposals from women-owned and disadvantages business and if so, please provide contact name.
